What is Piña Fabric
Piña shifu is a handwoven fabric made from a unique blend of pineapple and silk fibers, known for its lightweight and elegant texture. It is handcrafted in Aklan, Philippines by artisan weavers, with their know-how passed down through generations.
Taking care of Piña Fabric
Due to its delicate handwoven construction, piña fabric must be professionally dry cleaned only. Do not wash, bleach, or steam the fabric. When ironing, use medium heat and apply a heavy finish starch spray to maintain its crispness.
